Swift
roofing services was established in 1999 to offer a roof refurbishment
service direct to clients.
Building on a
strong base of Blue chip companies such as JCB, Johnson Matthey,
Massey Ferguson, GKN etc, the turnover grew rapidly.
Relationships
were quickly formed with many well known contractors such
as Carillion, Bowmer and Kirkland, Thomas Vale and other well
known names. This allowed us to continue with larger refurbishment
contracts but also allowed us to spread into the sizeable
new build market.
To work in this
sector the additional health and safety and management requirements
required a significant investment in the company infrastructure.
To this end we now employ 9 office staff and handle a turnover
of £ 3.5 million.
Along with numerous
contracting and supervisory staff we have our own NEBOSH qualified
Health and Safety Manager. To supplement this we also employ
one of the leading Health and Safety consultancy firms, namely
‘The Health and Safety People’ to supplement our
procedures and offer an independent, fully audited approach
to safety.
We employ a total
of 25 operatives in the field enabling us to offer a full
range of services such as, Sheeting, Cladding, Single-ply,
Felting, Guttering and Glazing. This large, mainly directly
employed, workforce gives us the opportunity to service projects
from £ 10,000 through to major projects completed in
excess of £ 400,000. All of our staff have achieved
a CSCS qualification and the majority have achieved level
2 NVQ qualifications in their field. This gives our clients
confidence in employing a fully trained workforce with an
accepted minimum level of safety ensured.
We are proud members
of the National Federation of Roofing Contractors who offer
a fully checked membership, unique co-partnership warranties
and an independent arbitration service to our clients in case
of dispute.
We have pleasure
in detailing some general case studies for your perusal and
would happily discuss any items further given the opportunity.
We can also arrange
for written and verbal references where required.
